Founded in 1989 by Daniel Panoz, Panoz is a designer and manufacturer of exclusive, American-made luxury sports cars. In 1997, father Don Panoz decided to enter racing to better promote his son’s products. The difference between Panoz and many other manufacturers is that it strives to keep its racing versions as close as possible to the road cars. The Panoz Esperante GTLM, based on the Panoz Esperante GTS, is one of the many Panoz successes and scored two huge wins at the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In both cases it beat every major sports car manufacturer including Porsche and Ferrari.
Whilst Panoz might not be a high volume manufacturer of sports cars, Panoz has remained true to it’s roots of treating it’s exclusive cars with great respect. It hand-crafts each car and rigorously tests every creation before it is handed over to the new owner. Panoz sports cars bear the ultimate mark of exclusivity and motorsports heritage.
